synergy works when using computer A as client but does not if i use computer B as client.

Im running windows 7 on both my computers, but when i tried to use computer B as the server for my client (computer A) it could not find any clients. But when i checked synergy on computer A it said could not connect to computer B. I tried reversing the the process and make computer A the server and computer B the client it worked. the problem is this is the wrong way around i need Computer B (the newer, more powerful and frequently used computer) to work as a client. I've ran synergy as an administrator on both computers, turned off Norton antivirus on both computers but still no luck.

Is this a problem with fire walls? or is it something else?

Please Help!!

We could use more information. Have you checked windows firewall on computer B to ensure synergy has complete access? are you running any other firewalling software? What does your network topography look like? can you post your ipconfig and synergy config for both computers? – MaQleod Sep 24 '11 at 3:41
