So, the default colour scheme of kmail is unusable on my system, and I want to copy the colour scheme and settings from another system. The problem is that the folders and accounts are in the same config file.

So I copy the config file and then delete every account from the GUI, and recreate them again. This leads to a mess that complains about missing folders of non-existing accounts, so I delete all folders that do not exist in the configuration from the configuration file, which makes all other folders disappear as well.

I need to find a way to either:

  1. Copy only non-folder/non-account information (templates included, )
  2. Make kmail recover all accounts automatically and remove unnecessary things from the config file

It would be better if the solution doesn't involve editing the config file, because I don't know how to use a text editor (read: my konsole is broken)
