Before I write this myself, I was wondering if someone knew of a solution that provides the following features:

  1. On a Windows host, I'd like to record a voice message
  2. Upload the message to a server on the Net
  3. Send the URL to people this message is intended

The reason I need this, is so that

  1. I'm not billed when calling people's voice mail on their cellphone,
  2. There are things that are faster to explain vocally than in writing, and
  3. Voice mail is asynchronous, so I'm free to record and people are free to listen to the message when they're available.

Is there a solution that already does this?

You could use youtube, or any other normal free video platform for this. – Michael K Sep 29 '11 at 10:56
Thanks, but this is for non-techies, so would like a Windows applet that will take care of recording + uploading + sending e-mail notification – OverTheRainbow Sep 29 '11 at 11:38
