I have setup a dedicated SMTP server with the command:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure postfix

But my problem is with sending a message using the AMS sender program. I can send email through 1 ip address. Note that I have in my house more than one network. So when I connect to another network I cannot connect to my server on port 25:

Connection failed: Connection timed out.
Attempting to Re-Connect.
2 Attempt(s) left

So my server just be connected on network 1 and when I change my network it cannot send. Maybe there is a firewall or something ?

what do you mean with AMS sender program? Are you talking about "Advanced Mass Sender"? If you use more than one network in your house, you have to setup routing between them. – guenter Oct 3 '11 at 13:32
