Xmarks stopped working at work because of a new proxy server (can't believe they don't support proxy servers!). I tried their suggestion of disabling the proxy for just xmarks, but this doesn't work either (and I don't understand how it could, since, um, I need to go through the proxy server to access the internet, right?). So now I'm on the lookout for a new way to sync bookmarks. My requirements:

  1. Sync actual browser bookmarks (e.g. the bookmarks that are synced should be "regular" firefox/chrome bookmarks - i.e. I don't want to access them via a plugin or web page)
  2. Sync between browsers (chrome and firefox)
  3. Preserve tags when bookmarks are viewed in Firefox across different computers
  4. (nice to have, not a strict requirement) - ability to view bookmarks on a web page

Basically I want xmarks that works (or might work) with a proxy server.
