I have been using gentoo, xmonad and rxvt-unicode for a long time now and every thing normally works perfectly.
A few days ago I got a new laptop, on which I installed the same software stack. But I'm having a strange problem with urxvt.
When I uses a command like ssh or emerge (or some other application) which type a message to the console and then wait for input, the last line does not appear on my screen until I press a button. For instance when using ssh, I do not get the password prompting until I type something on my keyboard.
What can be wrong, it how do I fix it?
