I am looking for a simple way to tag and search files. There are many solutions out there but all I've found so far are either single user (TaggedFrog, etc.) or full blown document management systems (e.g. M-Files), neither of which are what I'm looking for.
We are in an office environment and have a need to tag up several files that are considered to be best practices so that they can be easily searched and accessed by others on the network.
I'm not interested in changing the way we store documents (i.e. document management) but I do need for multiple users to be able to access the tag database to do searches. I simply need an index system that will make it easier to locate files once they've been tagged.
Any ideas on products out there that would suit?
