I am using the keyboard in the subject (MS Curve Comfort 2000) with the latest drivers, etc.

Randomly, when typing, this window pops up:

I have no idea why, what key combination is rightly supposed to make it pop up, and why it pops up randomly, but it's really annoying, because it even happens when I'm playing, tabbing me out of the game, etc. Very frustrating. I googled around but couldn't find anything useful. I'm running Win7 Ultimate. How do I disable this for good?

microsoft intellitype installs a program c:\Program Files\Microsoft IntelliType Pro\mskey.exe. It appears that your keyboard is send the keycode for one of the "my favorites" keys. When you don't have them configured, intellitype pops that window up. Clean your keyboard. Still happening? use mskey.exe to see what the problem is and install the latest intellitype software. – mbrownnyc Oct 6 '11 at 19:47
