I need to use dual/multi monitor(s) to present some images and I want to show images in the second monitor and browse images in first monitor and select and change the image in second monitor whenever I want.
Is there any Linux image viewer that be able to show images in a separate window other that the window that lists images?

You could write this up fairly easily. I'd just use something like python tcl/tk and whip up a two window app for this. – Doc Oct 7 '11 at 1:11
