What I am looking for is desktop software that basically views your web based email from different accounts. Nothing that downloads your email. Just basically a multi web based email account viewer.
They seem to be non-existent. I have searched high and wide.
Gmail allows you to link accounts and switch accounts, but it is bulky, faulty, and just a pain in the butt. And I don't want them linked.
Gmail also allows you to add accounts, so you can send mail on behalf of your other accounts, but that is sloppy and prone to errors.
You can turn a Chrome window or a FF window into an application, but that still does not solve multi accounts from one one provider.
You can run separate FF profiles at once, so they have their own sessions, but if you have 30 email accounts, that still doesn't solve anything.
There are FF addons for multi gmail accounts, but they all do not work correctly on some level, and some lately have even stopped working altogether.
There is software called GeeMail, but it is only for 1 Gmail account, not multiple. This is exactly what I want, but for multiple accounts.
MailPlane looks to be exactly what I want, but it is for Mac. And I don't do Mac.
I use Thunderbird IMAP for my regular personal and select work email accounts. But still, IMAP does download your email onto your computer....just differently than POP does, so it is not what I am looking for. And I don't want these email accounts to be in the same program as my personal and work. I need them separate.
And I do not want any parts of these email accounts to be downloaded onto my computer, so just using a separate pop/IMAP software will not work.
So if anyone has any ideas that I have not covered, please I would like to hear them.
