I bought a used IBM x series 235 eServer recently, it wasn't equipped with HDD's but I bought one separately to get me going. When I start the machine, it POST's fine up to checking RAID which with my single HDD it passes. After this I get a message 'no scsi boot device found'. Please could someone help me understand how to get past.
I have downloaded the serverguide cd but it wont boot. I have checked all the settings I can find to boot from CD to set the machine up.
I intend on loading it up with a distro of linux or FreeBSD if I can get it running.
