when i try to connect Windows-CE 5.0 to my PC (xp or 7)

i get this error on the Windows-CE

cannot start communications with the desktop computer
winsock services could not stat due to critical error

what can be the problem ?

Not enough Info, did you have an active connect at any other times? What method of connection? Did you try setting the CE device into Mass storage mode? if they gave you a control pannel it would be in a USB section. We dont even know if your trying to connect bluetooth in your question, which was possible in some devices? What type of CE device? – Psycogeek Oct 11 '11 at 1:54
