When copy and pasting a pivot table and chart in Excel 2007, the chart remains linked to the table in which it was copied from and not the new table.

I can recreate a new chart from the table which references data on a different page, so there are drop downs and complex formatting in the graphs.
I would like to keep this formatting and not have to recreate the graph, just make it link to the new copied table which I am changing.

I have recreated a graph from the table by clicking on Options/Pivot Chart, then if you copy and paste over that new graph from an existing formatted graph, it sometimes will copy the formatting, but I am finding that it sometimes changes the entire graph to be some other random linking.
