I have a Seagate hard drive (500GB). It worked perfectly for the last two years. Two days ago, by accident, I deleted one local drive (E:) from Disk Management in Windows XP.
When I rebooted my PC, there was a blue screen with errors. I then connected the hard drive to another PC and it showed me the following info:
Hard Drive ST3500630AS3.AAk (capacity 465GB)
… and it shows me a local drive on it: H: with a capacity of 811GB.
How can this happen? I'm trying to format this drive, but system can't do it. It always aborts the process.
If there is no way to repair this drive, how can I restore the data from it?
