I have a Rosewill RRC-126 that controls my Windows Media Center. I purchased the remote back in February 2011 and it worked perfectly up until recently.
I'm having issues where sometimes the power, fast forward and rewind button presses are not recognized by WMC. The light on the remote flashes when I press these buttons and the light on the IR receiver also flashes.
I have to do one of the following to fix the issue:
- Reinsert the IR receiver dongle
- Restart WMC
- Restart the computer
The interesting thing is I have iTunes running in the background and after I close WMC, I can control iTunes just fine with the remote. So I'm not sure what is going on here?
