Excel 2010 is responding slow in Windows 2008 machine - Opening a file manually/programatically. It takes almost double the time of a XP machine.

Windows 2008 - x64, 8GB RAM, 2.4 GHz Xenon (4) processor. Windows XP - x86, 2 GB RAM, 3 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor

Please let me know if any suggestions?
