I have a Wacom PenPartner USB tablet that I'm trying to get to work on a Windows 7 computer. Unfortunately, the manufacturer only has drivers for Windows XP. Having nothing else to try, I installed those drivers on Windows 7.

It does detect pen movement for both tip and eraser ends (moves the cursor around) and pressing the button on the side of the pen changes the cursor image. The problem is it does not detect pen down status in order to actually click or draw anything. The light on the tablet itself changes color when I press down to draw as opposed to just moving around, so I know it's not a hardware failure.

I've looked at all the Pen and Touch settings that Windows makes available, but nothing has fixed it. It seems I may be simply out of luck due to lack of updated drivers, but I figure there's no harm in asking if there may be any alternate way to get it working.
