I am looking for a word editor software like "MS word" or "open office" which allows me doodling over what I wrote. So I can create my personal notes looks like any "head first" book. Although some image editors or using clip art might be a suggestion for that, but I am looking for a dedicated software for that. Please suggest.

According to the Head First Labs author's guide [PDF], they use Adobe InDesign for all their books. You can download a free trial of InDesign to see if it does what you need. | |||
