Possible Duplicate:
Good Wireless Range Extender

I have WiFi router that i want to extend to longer range. I dont want to plug anything in router though it does not have any removable antenna. What i need is something i can put between computer and router in the middle. That can grab wireless signal when i specify password and other settings and retransmit it.

I need some kind of device not laptop with 2 adapters... Does anybody know such thing exists, how they called?

I believe a Wifi "Access Point" uses a LAN connection (you have to plug it in) and so what you want is a wifi "Repeater"

Also you might get further range with a newer router (e.g. using N rather than B/G) so you could test this if you can borrow one.
