Is there any free PDF reader that provides the capability to copy a PDF table to Excel? I know Adobe Acrobat Pro has this capability and it works very well, but I'm wondering if there is a free solution. I've tried Foxit, PDF-XChange, and Sumatra, as well as Adobe Reader, but I haven't found an option for this in any of these packages.
I also do not want to have to use a workaround like copying individual columns, or using an online or desktop service that converts the entire PDF to something like a Word file. Rather, I want the functionality to work just like Acrobat Pro, where I can select a table directly from within the PDF viewer and immediately paste it into Excel.
