I am using XP Mode on my new PC running Windows 7 Pro SP1. My old PC is running XP Pro. I would like to get access to the old PC's My Documents folder from within XP Mode on my new PC.
If I right-click on My Documents folder on the XP box, and then go to the Sharing tab and click on the Permissions button, and then click on the Add button to add a user to the list of those who are permitted to access the folder, what is the name of the entity that gets entered into the text area?
On the Windows 7 box, the name given to my XP_Mode vm is FOO_XPMODE, say. The full computer name is FOO_XPMODE.ourdomain.net. The current user is foo123. But none of those seem to be recognized in the share dialog.
