I'm looking for a new Dell laptop to live stream from a video camera as well as do some video editing. It looks like a XPS 15 is the best cost/performance laptop for this.

I'd like to have a FireWire port for video streaming, but it doesnt seem to have one built in.

Does the XPS 15 provide a CardBus or Express slot for me to put in a FireWire adapter like the one shown here?

voting to close, since its a really localised question - i had to look up what the current model was on wikipedia, googled that model + express card, and the answer is no. However this may or may not change with future models, and 'new' can be 'old' next year. – Journeyman Geek Nov 3 '11 at 0:57
XPS 15 does not have any cardbus or expresscard slots, so no you cannot use firewire unless there is a usb to firewire adapter on the market. – Moab Nov 3 '11 at 1:27
