I have an MSI X58 Pro Bord with an i7 processor and 6 GB Kingston memory. My VGA card is ATI RADEON HD 5850 and I have 2 hard disks of 1 TB size. The Power supply is a 700W/80 plus goldkist. I run Windows 7 64 bit and my working software is Adobe Premiere CS5.

When I work with normal footage (DV, AVI), it works fine. But when I start to work with EX3 footage, there are problems.

The display just isn't smooth. The video pauses and plays again. After some time, the computer restarts.

How can I solve this problem?

If the computer is spontaneously restarting, and there's nothing in the system event logs that hints at a reason for it, then it sounds like a hardware issue. – techie007 Nov 6 '11 at 6:20
You may want to check out questions like What is the best computer “burn-in” or stability testing software? or What tools to test the reliability and stability of a newly built PC? for some testing utilities, try a few things and come back with some more info on what you've tried/found. – techie007 Nov 6 '11 at 6:20
Sounds like an overheating problem – Sathya Nov 6 '11 at 7:06
