I've installed arch linux on my laptop and i can't configure power profiles or see the battery state. On SLED and openSUSE it works well.
My modules and daemons:
MODULES=(acpid acpi-cpufreq cpufreq_ondemand cpufreq_powersave)
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng network crond laptop-mode @cpufreq appset-helper)
I've tried steps at this site. But i think i haven't done it well. What do i miss?
I use HP ProBook 4530s, drivers are available only for SLED :/
[root@myhost /]# acpi -V
