I am committing a project via shell and I am getting the following error

Commit failed (details follow):
svn: '/svn/BrianZammitStables/!svn/wrk/0a945a09-f0c5-4221-8a74-130acb5c7a5a/media/images/news/furey%5C's%20victory_1271017031.jpg' path not found

The file itself exists and the real filename is furey\'s victory_1271017031.jpg

I am suspecting that maybe some character in the filename may be causing the problem.

It appears as though your SVN client is URL-encoding the filename before commiting the file... Is it possible to remove the ' character? – Breakthrough Nov 7 '11 at 13:09
