Currently, I use my MacBook for a server development and personal machine, while I have to have a proprietary Windows laptop for our systems at work. Carrying both of these systems alone is a hassle, having to purchase the massive Alienware M18X, but it is worse when I am on the road and have to continually use the built in keyboards. Beyond the obvious wear this will cause on the internal keyboards in a short time, it is a massive inconvenience to not have a numpad and work over a laptop.
I am trying to find a good wireless keyboard that will be compatible with both laptops and have been running across some difficulties. There is definitely personal preference towards a native Mac keyboard, but there seems to be a very limited market for these. I have looked into the new Logitech K750 for Mac, which seems like an viable option, but after inquiring on the Logitech support forums apparently the number pad will not work on a Windows machine.
If anyone has any suggestions or can possibly do further testing for the Logitech K750 Mac or K750 Windows working on a Mac it would be greatly appreciated.
