Is it possible to install and run GNU/Linux on a Macbook? I want to dual boot it with OSx. I dont wan't to get locked to one Os.

Can: yes. Perfectly: who knows, perfection is a very subjective term. Read the first Google hit for debian macbook and come back if you have answerable questions. – Gilles Nov 10 '11 at 22:22
