Lately I have been having a lot of trouble with my internet connection (DSL)

It works, but a lot of times when I go to load a website, it will do this in chrome:

Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): The connection was reset.

It is really annoying as I will have to refresh the page several times to get it to finally load. It isn't just some sites, its any site. I can watch videos on Hulu without any interuption and sometimes pages load right away, but I would say as much as 60% of the pages I try to load will end up giving me that and then I have to do the multiple reload/refresh just to get it to finally load a page. Or sometimes it will load a page with out the css file loads, until I refresh.

I assume this is an issue with my ISP as other users in my home have similar problems, if I were to call my internet provider, is it likely there is anything they can do to resolve such an issue?

Have you tried removing your router (assuming you have one) from the equation? – techie007 Nov 11 '11 at 21:01

@techie007 I haven't tried that as there are other users that use the connection sometimes. I will probably give that a try tomorrow while they are gone at work though and see if any difference – jasondavis Nov 11 '11 at 21:05

The odds are your ISP will make you do that first anyway. :) Either way call them, they provide your Internet, and you're having Internet problems (it's obviously not the computers themselves, since it's more than one). – techie007 Nov 11 '11 at 21:06
