I have been using Ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot (11.10) with gnome-shell (Gnome 3) for a little while and I'm trying to get accustomed to it.

Back in Gnome 2 with Compiz I was able to maximize a window vertically when middle-clicking the maximize button and to maximize it horizontally by right-clicking on it.

I know that in gnome-tweak-tool I am able to set these actions for right-clicking or middle-clicking on the title bar of the window. This is not what I want. Is there a way to configure Gnome 3 to do it exactly the way Gnome 2 and Compiz did it?
