Hi I might try something so simple as disable my firewall but that didn't do it. I can start the dev_appserver.py which my python 2.7 and I see some warning that I think is irrelevant (not finding the datastore file) and when I hit localhost:8080 in the browser then nothing happen. I can run the project on linux with no problems and now I'm trying to do some work on a windows laptop syncing my work via DVCS Mercurial.

Can you help me what I should do to enable the dev_appserver.py?

I've got the latest McAfee security software and I disabled it for 15 minutes and could still not make the log files roll when hitting localhost. What should I do?

(Temporarily) Disable all firewalls and see if it works, come back and let us know. – techie007 Nov 19 '11 at 15:14
