I would like to know where I can learn (perhaps multiple good books/references) the art to set up multiple servers to aid (scalability, etc) a web application.

So that someday, perhaps in a couple of years, I could set up servers for load balancing, another one for serving databases, etc.. what I'm looking for is what topics are a must and that kind of thing.
