I have an external HD, and it had three partitions on it. One was a 4GB ext4 filesystem, and two others, 120GB NTFS and 120GB ext4.
I created an image on the 4GB using the Linux utility
dd on Fedora 14. Today, I went to use the Ubuntu utility start up disk creator to make a bootable partition, so I selected the 4GB partition and told it to delete the partition.
Few moments later, it gives an error, and it has lost connection with the external drive. Looking at the device , I find that the device seems like it's brand new, no data, no partitions or anything.
How do I get back the data from the other two partitions?
