I have an external HD, and it had three partitions on it. One was a 4GB ext4 filesystem ,and two others 120GB NTFS and 120 GB ext4.
I created an image on the 4GB using the Linux utility
dd on Fedora 14. Today, I went to use the Ubuntu utility 'start up disk creator' to make a bootable partition, so I selected the 4GB partition and told it to delete the partition.
Moments later, it gives an error, and it has lost connection with the external drive. Looking at the device , I find that the device seems like it's brand new, no data no partitions or anything.
How do I get back the data from the other two partitions?
