I'm using a RADEON X300 SE 128MB HyperMemory video card. It has two outputs: One VGA and the other is DVI. The DVI connects to my computer monitor and the VGA connects to my tv monitor.

The extended display works fine and each device is identified properly, however, I cannot make the tv monitor my primary (aka - the display that has the start bar and displays new windows that open). The checkbox is grayed-out and unselectable when I click on the secondary display.

I don't know if this is a driver/software or a hardware issue. I've tried updating drivers for the display adapter and went through (seemingly) every option screen available.

How can I make switch the primary monitor functions over to the secondary display?
