I recently downloaded Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. I did not set up Outlook as I do not wish to use it. Today, the Outlook set up wizard repeatedly tried to open of it's own accord. I could not get it to stop via task manager. The only way I could get it to stop was by going to into the control panel > uninstall or change a program >add / remove feature and marking Outlook with 'X'.

I am concerned this may have been as a result of a virus. I had this issue on my last computer (I did have Outlook installed and it would launch multiple times of it's own accord) and although I managed to stop the problem, the computer died shortly afterwards. It may have been a coincidence but I don't want it to happen again!

I am using Windows 7 and have Avast anti-virus installed.

If anyone is able to shed any light on this problem it would be very much appreciated!
