Which processor is used in the MacBook Pro 13" 2011 base model?

I know it's an iCore-5, but which one? I would like to see its benchmark on this page.

There are many different 2011 MacBook Pro models. Which one in particular are you referring to? – Jeremy Banks Dec 2 '11 at 2:27
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBook_Pro wikipedia has a listing of what processors they use with the MBP.2.4 GHz (2430M) Intel Core i5 with 3 MB on-chip L3 cache for the 13" model. The rest seem to use core i7. Voting to close for being too time localised. – Journeyman Geek Dec 2 '11 at 2:31
fixed the question. 13" base model. – Dave Dec 2 '11 at 2:35

Dual- and quad-core i5s and i7s, depending on the model.

Edit: The 13" MBP comes with a 2.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5; or as an option, a 2.8GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 (the option includes a HDD upgrade as well).

Edit2: Here's Wikipedia's MBP reference. Early 2011: 2410M. Late 2011: 2430M. You can find the optional CPUs there, too.

Processor has names like Intel Core i5-2520M @ 2.50GHz, you are telling me 2.5GHz but what is the name of the processor. – Dave Dec 2 '11 at 2:48

You can apparently get your full cpu model from the command line in MacOS

sysctl -n machdep.cpu.brand_string

Will give something like

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8600 @ 2.40GHz
