Did a fresh Win 7 install on my new SSD, can I get my Desktop back?

How can I get my Desktop(wallpapers, start menu, settings, etc.) from my HDD to my new SSD?

Are you talking about the restroing the previous theme settings or the Desktop Files ?

Go to Control Panel, Personalization on the old installation and click Save Theme.

You can then open the theme on the new installation.

Copy the C:\users\<Username> folder from your original installation to the same location in the new OS.

You will get all sorts of things, including your desktop, bookmarks, and contacts.
