My problem is as follows: I have a mid-2009 Macbook Pro with a Nvidia MCP79 AHCI controller and I have just installed Windows 7 using bootcamp, as i didn't like how it run in vmware fusion. I now have a problem with my drive.

It seems that windows only sees IDE drivers, and no AHCI controllers. I searched online, and i found that i have to hack the EFI so that my windows will boot with AHCI controller, but i only saw the tutorials for intel based macbooks, and i guess this one is an Nvidia one.

Does anyone else have this problem? If yes, what was your solution? I really want to use my SSD with the full power, not as IDE. Thanks
