I'm new to networks and I'm trying to use Microsoft Network Monitor. There is a lot of data coming from everywhere so I'm trying to look at a particular thing until I get a firm grasp on the program.

With one computer, I'm running Microsoft Network Monitor 3.4. I've put it in Monitor mode and I am scanning all the channels. While I'm doing this, I start the capture.

On the second computer that I want to monitor I visit a bunch of websites to generate some http traffic.

When I end the the capture I go to look at my results. I can see all of the traffic from the router to the dummy computer, but I see absolutely nothing coming from the dummy computer. I see all these HTTP:Responses but absolutely no HTTP:Requests.

What am I doing wrong? Just to make the problem more clear, I am in a library and I see absolutely no HTTP:Requests from anyone in the whole library.
