Environment

  • Dell PowerEdge R910 with Broadcom MCB5709C NICs connected to Cisco 4507 and configured as Link Aggregation teams.
  • Broadcom firmware and drivers - all the latest versions.

OS

Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Datacenter.

After a reboot and only intermittently, the teams either fail to aggregate or they do aggregate but the BASP adapter comes up with a MAC Address of 00-00-00-00-00-00. Broadcom Control Suite shows the correct MAC address for the adapter(s) but IPConfig /all tells a different story.

I have never had this with Intel NIC's using Proset... any ideas please?
