I have a laptop drive that was booting Windows 7 extremely slowly and. Eventually I discovered the first part of the drive doesn't register bad sectors but is extremely slow to test with any software (300 kBps read). I would like to find out where it ends so I can repartition the drive with the hopefully good part separated so that I can reinstall Windows 7. Thank you.

(I have tried using HD Tune Pro and others but they will not do the read test from a user-specified location.)

Also, I have it plugged in to on my desktop running Windows XP right now.
