While using the Nvidia GeForce 9600m, the screen will go black while gaming (or other GPU intensive activity) and I have to do a hard restart. This scenario is the same for either OS X or Windows 7 (bootcamp). The 9400m is still functioning however.. so basically I am forced to play mac-only games and I'll probably have to uninstall Windows at some point since I wouldn't use it for anything other than gaming.
I wonder if it would be easy to remove the 9600m on the MBP (late 2008)? Although perhaps Windows 7 wouldn't be able to recognize the remaining 9400m?
