My Asus Eee Pc 1005P does not wake up when I press the on/off button.

You could try powering off completely, by holding the off key down for a period of time (although you might lose unsaved work). I have read of similar problems, but nothing definite. Have you updated the video driver? One solution I have read is to download the asus auto updater in order to update the bios. – w3d Dec 6 '11 at 14:58
