I'm trying to capture from my inbuilt tv tuner with a Hauppauge HD PVR via component cable, but I had no success. Is this even possible without any other equipment?

These are my TV outputs: Coax cable on the far right and component in the middle.

So you have plugged the component cables into the output from the TV? From the image that looks like an input. – Paul Dec 6 '11 at 22:42
Are you sure that's an OUTPUT? Check to see if that component spot is actually marked INPUT. – Simon Sheehan Dec 6 '11 at 22:45
It doesn't say if it's input or output, but I don't have any other slots. Does that mean it's not possible to capture anything with this TV? – Ingles R Dec 6 '11 at 22:47
