I have photos taken inside a boat that has salt water spots on some parts of the landscape making the background forest in some parts splochy and not pretty for a commercial photo. Is there any way to clean this up?

There is no instant function to get rid of them, no, but there are things like blur, sharpen, and the clone stamp tool that allows for blending out the spots or replacing certain areas with its surroundings. – a sandwhich Dec 7 '11 at 15:04
