I am trying to reinstall GRUB to bring my laptop back to life. When I select the option to Run Recommended Repairs, it gets to the message "Reinstall GRUB sda. This may require several minutes..." It then runs for over an hour at which point I lose patience and reboot it.
How long should it take to reinstall? Am I being hasty by rebooting it?
I note that the activity indiciator keeps moving...
