I bought a 3D Vision kit a year ago. A few months ago, I noticed that it wasn't working anymore because the emitter got off (no green logo) after a few seconds since I connected the USB cable. I contacted NVIDIA and they told me to replace the kit as it could have been defective.

I did it but it didn't help. The other day I just formatted my PC and reinstalled drivers 285.62 from NVIDIA. 3D Vision worked!

I then reinstalled all other my drivers and programs, including the nForce drivers for my motherboard and all of Windows Updates. Then now, happily going to play again in 3D, I discovered that the problem occurs again!!

I think this is definitely a software problem. I read that it could be due to the USB driver of 3D Vision.

  1. I tried to clean-reinstall 285.62 drivers. Nothing. By the way, during uninstallation, the green light reappeared!
  2. I tried to follow this guide. Nothing
  3. After noticing that Device Manager reported error 10 for USB Stereo connector, I tried this as suggested by this other. Nothing
  4. [ADD] Installed Beta 290.36 drivers. Nothing

I wouldn't like to reformat. Did this problem happen to anybody else?

[FOLLOW] I just noticed that this could definitely be a USB driver problem. I see that I have no more Bluetooth on my computer. Even if Device Manager detects the BT Radio, which is a USB dongle, the system doesn't show me any more the BT icon in taskbar. Could the two problems be related?
