Is it possible to make MS-PowerPoint 2010 stop auto-updating time/date fields in a presentation when it opens?

I want to print a bunch of PPTX files with the command-line (see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint-help/command-line-switches-for-powerpoint-2007-and-the-powerpoint-viewer-2007-HA010153889.aspx).

But I also want to keep the time that's saved in the original PowerPoint file.

Any ideas?

in-short... don't use auto-updating fields. PowerPoint only has 1 date/time auto-field... and it's the current date/time.

You can use PPT's own time/date fields, but tell PPT to use fixed rather than updating ones.

Insert tab | Text group | Date & Time

Choose Fixed instead of Upate Automatically.
