I have a Dell PowerConnect switch. I'm using four ports: A, B, C and D. Ports A, B and C can connect to their networks successfully, but when I connect D, it disconnects either port C or itself. Why does this happen, and how can I make all four ports work?

Have you tried any firmware updates? Have you tried a different port other than D for your fourth connection? Is the cable for D a good cable? – kobaltz Dec 23 '11 at 3:42
