I am trying to disable the screen saver on a Mac Mini with Mac OS X version 10.6.4.

I have tried to disable it from System Preferences setting it to "never" and I have tried as well using the defaults command to set the idleTime in com.apple.screensaver to 0.

I have checked and there is no process with a name similar to screen saver.
