I am looking to make my Macbook Air more ergonomic by placing a wireless keyboard with built-in mouse on my lap, then elevating my Macbook's screen close to eye level.

Can anyone recommend a good wireless keyboard with built-in mouse input for this?

Ideal criteria:

-Light and compact for travel -Mouse input (ideally trackpad to enable Lion gestures but scrollball is okay) -Mac-compatible

Two options that may fit are:

Logitech K400 http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-Multi-Touch-920-003070/dp/B005DKZTMG/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1324694469&sr=8-13

IOGEAR Multimedia Keyboard with Laser Trackball http://www.amazon.com/Multimedia-Keyboard-Trackball-Wireless-GKM561R/dp/B002H0BOBA/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1324693529&sr=1-6

I haven't tried these so I'm curious if anyone likes them for this use case. I'd love to learn about other options, as well.

I imagine I'm not the only one who would like a more ergonomic Macbook so I hope others have experience with this. Thanks!

Hi, is there a Stack Exchange forum where this would be on-topic? – Mark Dec 25 '11 at 8:42
I don't think so. There's just no lasting value in questions like this. You could also consider Apples wireless keyboard and the magic trackpad. – Daniel Beck Dec 25 '11 at 9:05
